The insect, as yet unidentified to me, was noticed by my daughter. It was on the edge of the water, hanging in the grass. She wanted my phone to take a shot. Straight away I had visions of the phone looking up at me, safe on the bank, while it, now a nautical feature, a friend of the fish, lay prone in the shallows. The photo was taken, and not by me. The phone stayed dry. Alas, Goodbye.
Hangin’ in the Grass
Not sure what it is but it was worthy of a shot. So from humble beginnings it is now introduced to the World via On the Bog. I did ask it for permission. It, all of it, nodded gently in the evening breeze.
